ABOUT ME
hi, i'm frankie.
My goal is simple: Work hard and smart while using 21st century tools to inform the world. I'm passionate about being engaged with the public and sharing positive stories that impact daily lifestyles.
Currently, I’m a reporter for WCCO-TV, CBS News Minnesota. I graduated with a BA in Journalism and Mass Communication, along with a Certificate in International Business, from Arizona State University's Walter Cronkite School. Additionally, I earned an MMC in Mass Communication from the Cronkite School.
Since May 2019, I have served on the Board of Governors for the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (the Emmys). My professional experience includes reporting roles at KTVK/KPHO-TV (Arizona’s Family) and KVOA-TV (News 4 Tucson), as well as other roles with American Airlines, The Kim Komando Show, NBC’s TODAY Show/Megyn Kelly TODAY, WJLA-TV, Circa News and Apple, Inc.
With a goal of becoming bilingual, I’ve dedicated nine years to studying Spanish. During my junior year of undergrad, I enhanced my language skills and cultural understanding by studying abroad in Seville, Spain.
I value family, friends, public speaking, Maryland crabs, traveling, collaborating with others, problem-solving, helping others, hot sauce, and Greek food!
